BITE

The International Tourism Trade Fair of Ecuador, (B.I.T.E.) is a private entity, sponsored by the Ecuadorian government through its Ministry of Tourism.

BITE was created to promote Ecuador’s natural resources and tourism services, through exhibits, conferences, business meetings, and personal interviews.

Local companies participate as “sellers” offering tour services and products. International companies participate as “buyers” of these products.

Where and When

B.I.T.E. will take place in Cuenca, one of the most charming cities inEcuador. In 1999, UNESCO declared Cuenca a World Cultural Heritage Site because of its beauty and the historic importance of its colonial downtown area. Cuenca offers visitors kindness, warmth, and the opportunity to enjoy the cultural traditions of its people.

The fair will be held on May 14, 15, and 16, 2003 in the free zone installations at Zhucay, 7.5 km. from Cuenca. The venue has a total area of 5,000 square meters, featuring an auditorium, restaurant, cafeteria, business center with VIP lounge, and a fully featured press room.
